What is Country Channel TV?

Country Channel TV is the voice of the countryside. We have scheduled, countryside programming on Sky and also online, 24/7 at www.countrychannel.tv A wide variety of programmes on Farming, Lifestyle, Wildlife and Animals, Recreation, Equestrian and Country Sports.

A unique multi-channel web-based broadcast service, committed to producing and transmitting high quality programmes to a large and growing dedicated countryside audience.

Launched in 2006, the Country Channel broadcasts on SKY TV’s MyChannel (Sky 219) three times a day, and has a free-to-view service online at www.countrychannel.tv. The website streams over 60 hours of scheduled programming each week, as well as all programmes (over 1000) being available on demand, anytime of day, all around the world.

Our factual programming is made up of high quality features across six strands – Lifestyle, Wildlife and Animals, Recreation, Equestrian, Country Pursuits and Country Matters. Our aim is to provide programming that entertains, informs and educates those who live, work or play in the countryside.

The channel has been long associated with some famous faces such as Tony Francis and Wendy Nelson, both of ITV’s Heart of the Country; Graeme Garden, writer and broadcaster; Lucinda Green, three-day-event rider, trainer and Olympic medallist and BBC TV’s Rob Bonnet and Bill Turnbull.
